Tribute Coin To The Final Cent (2025)

These coins are novelty commemorative medallions (not official U.S. Mint products), designed as tributes to the end of the Lincoln penny’s production in 2025. The U.S. Mint did cease regular circulation strikes of the Lincoln cent in 2025 after over 230 years (with a ceremonial final strike in November 2025), due to production costs exceeding face value and policy decisions. However, these specific pieces—with phrases like “THE FINAL CENT TRIBUTE,” “R.I.P. PENNY 1793–2025,” embedded or inlaid 2025 Lincoln cent replicas, eagle wings/flag motifs, and plated finishes were only available in late-2025.
