Evercoat 740 OPTEX Super Build 4:1 Primer Surfacer

The Evercoat 740 OPTEX Super Build 4:1 polyester primer surfacer is engineered for professional automotive body repair, providing an ultra-high-build formula that fills imperfections and creates a smooth, sandable surface. Its built-in guide coat sprays on pink and sands to light gray, highlighting high and low spots without the need for powdered guide coats. The primer can be applied directly to bare metal, aluminum, fiberglass, rigid plastic, body filler, or putty, eliminating additional priming steps in many applications. It air dries in approximately 2 hours at 72F or can be force dried in 30 minutes at 140F to improve productivity. Compatible with waterborne paint systems and VOC compliant, the 740 primer requires Evercoat 733 or 734 catalyst for proper curing.
