General Electric FP-285 (211 Family) Radio Output Transmitting Tube, NOS

You are bidding on a General Electric type FP-285 radio transmitting output tube. The FP-285 is in the same family as a type 211 tube. It appears a new tube, but I got it without a box. It tests at 123% of the specifications for a new tube for emission, Em, and 126% of the new specifications for mutual conductance, Gm, on my Amplitrex AT1000 tester (with an adaptor and 211 settings). It is a much higher quality tube than the typical 211/VT-4C which was made in vast quantities for the military, as it has larger ceramic supports. It is a very nice tube that should be put to use.
