Other casts in plaster and bronze, explicitly described as being “modelled on the original work by Jean-Baptiste Auguste Clésinger,” survive in institutions such as the Royal College of Music and Royal Academy of Music in London, where they are catalogued as mid-19th-century copies, roughly 32 cm by 20 cm, and treated as direct links back to Clésinger’s Paris molds.
