We start with what people actually shop for, then narrow to products that are widely available, well-reviewed, and worth recommending. We ignore obscure listings and obvious junk — if we wouldn’t consider buying it, it doesn’t make the page.
Price is only meaningful in context. We track prices across the marketplace over time so a “deal” means a genuine drop from the typical price — not a marked-up “list price” designed to look like a discount. Where we have enough history, we show the lowest, highest, and average.
For best-of guides we weigh real-world performance, value, build quality, and owner reviews — then name a clear winner plus picks for budget and premium buyers. We explain the trade-offs so you can disagree with us and still choose well.
Deals are surfaced from live marketplace pricing and ranked by genuine savings, then filtered to remove low-quality or misleading listings. A deal has to be a real price drop on something worth owning.
Our recommendations are made by our editors, not our partners. No brand can pay to be featured, ranked higher, or called a winner. If a product is the best choice, we say so; if it isn't, we say that too.
